Glen has extensive background, experience, knowledge and education in eLearning. He has developed mission critical enterprise-level training solutions using open-source, proprietary and serious game-based learning technologies supporting more than a 1000 courses and very large user bases. He has developed frameworks and eLearning strategies that enhanced organizational knowledge and learning with improved performance and cost-reductions for Fortune 500 companies in the biotech, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, high-technology industries as well as institutions of higher education. Also, he has directed course management products for an eLearning start-up company that became a market leader. He has held a number of leadership, individual contributor, educator and CEO positions within agile environments. He is extremely passionate about the innovative and creative uses of learning technologies.

  • Key contributor in securing and delivering on $700 million dollars in annual operating revenue for online sales training, on­boarding, leadership and professional development. Assisted with the preparation of business proposals and contract reporting activities.
  • Conceptualized, designed and implemented the Publicis Virtual Academies. A mission critical branded online learning environment based on the open­-source Moodle Learning Management System.
  • Supported multiple robust enterprise level Learning Management Systems with over 12,000 domestic and international online users incorporating some 750 plus courses and performance management supports. Clients included: Publicis Healthcare Communications Group (PHCG), Merck, Merck Vree, Abbvie, AstraZeneca, Duchesnay, Vanda, Somaxon, Orexo, Roche, Valeant, Pfizer, Cadence, and Touchpoint Solutions.
  • Marketed, secured business and supported Serious Game Based Learning Platform as an innovative training solution to increase knowledge transfer. Clients included: Reckitt Benckiser, Sanofi Aventis, SafeRx (D.C. Dept. of Health) and Forest Laboratories. Presenter and author on Serious Game Based Learning.
  • Directed an innovative, high caliber eLearning department with both remote and traditional employees; developed processes, mentoring, leadership, management, professional development and evaluations.
  • Developed change management strategies for traditional pharmaceutical sales training to a rapidly deployable, reduced cost, time efficient, hybrid, trackable online system.
  • Converted legacy products to digital offerings that included audio, videos, eBooks, clinical ePrints, virtual preceptorships, case studies and SCORM course packages that extended business opportunities and revenue.
  • Honed Compliance and Pharmacovigilance training, monitoring and reporting processes; including FDA Part 11 Electronic Record/Signature compliance adherence.
Broad Street / Senior Project Manager/E-Learning Strategist

  • Created, managed and delivered winning proposals and training projects which included resource allocation, budgets and product delivery. Clients include IBM, Biogen­-Idec, GlaxoSmithKline, Pfizer, Bristol­-Myers Squibb, Organon and Cubist.
  • Analyzed GlaxoSmithKline’s suite of sales training materials, proposed recommendations to transition from paper based to e­Learning for consistency, efficiency, reporting and cost savings.
  • Authored a winning business proposal that led to the development of learning evaluation tools for IBM System and Technology Group University’s 2,700 courses and 70,000 learners; this effort included database analysis, reporting, course and organizational improvement recommendations.

  • Key contributor for WebCT-­Campus Edition/Hub/Vista from vision and scope, requirements and production, through entire product development lifecycle for a total of 28 releases.
  • Managed start­up of a new product design team including user­-interface (UI) designers, usability engineers, interaction designers, functional specifications/business analysts and developers.
  • Developed a unique, cost­-effective worldwide software usability program that improved the ease of use by 220%, decreased development costs by over $3M and improved product penetration.
  • Managed product release cycles and coordinated related tasks with quality assurance, marketing, documentation, support, sales teams, customer testing programs, launch plans and strategy.

  • Developed, and managed a multi­competent Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) respiratory care staff with 24/7 coverage demands.
  • Key contributor to a $3.8M National Library of Medicine Telemedicine Initiative (NLM) that provided enhanced educational, emotional, and medical support to families of high risk newborns using technology/video innovations.
