There are a lot of project management tools available for free on the internet, but most act more like platforms than programs, requiring internet access and cloud storage. Gantt Project, on the other hand, is a robust, open source program for your desktop (Windows, OSX, or Linux), allowing for flexibility and ease of access. Unfortunately, the tool wasn’t designed with beginners in mind, but if you know your way around a project management app, then you’ll feel right at home with Gantt Project.
