This template is the one of the best Project Control books we have seen. Originally created by and freely available from MIT, it is no longer posted on their site. Never forget another important project task; this template has many checklists for the user to use: among the checklists are a project startup checklist, a project planning checklist, and a QA checklist. There are several templates including a very useful project communications matrix and a risk register. In addition, it includes guidelines on several topics and a sample project roles and responsibilities section.
