Designing impactful learning experiences is strategically important to every institution. Increasingly, instructional designers are helping to fill this role by supporting faculty and developing innovative approaches to enhancing course quality. As the instructional design community continues to grow, institutions will make decisions about how to invest limited resources to develop new instructional design or learning design capabilities.
