Peter has a lifelong curiosity and passion for how technology can transform teaching and learning. He was the Associate Director of Technology at the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College. He was also the Chief Information Officer at Springfield College, providing technology services to over 5,000 students on 11 campuses nationwide offering over 2,000 courses. Peter was a Senior Project Manager at MIT, where he led the team that developed the world’s first business-to-business e-purchasing application. He served as the Manager of Operations and Systems Development Manager for MIT’s Project Athena, a $100M program that laid the groundwork for distributed computing–the underpinnings of what we now use every day on the Internet. Prior to MIT, Peter was the Manager of Computer Systems at Harvard University Faculty of Arts & Sciences Computer Services department.
