Figuring out which Higher Ed IT product fits all of your institution’s needs is one of the most difficult parts of a project. G2 Crowd, a software reviewing site, offers plenty of tools to help you compare and evaluate products for a variety of different implementations. The website allows you to contrast software based on their own ranking system, user reviews, or market presence, lets you read through reviews from people who’ve used the software, provides advice on that specific type of product, and provides an in-depth report on that product category. Not all of the software on G2 Crowd is necessarily related to Higher Ed IT, but their Education Software section covers many of the most popular products in the field.
